Blessthefall surgió en la escuela secundaria de las sesiones de práctica de el guitarrista Mike Frisby, el baterista Matt Traynor, el vocalista Craig Mabbitt y el bajista Jared Warth.Blessthefall estuvo en gira con Escape The Fate, LoveHateHero, Before Their Eyes, y Dance Gavin Dance en el Black On Black tour durante septiembre y octubre de 2007, también fueron parte del Underground Operations Tour y el Loathing Tour, siendo opening de Protest The Hero y All That Remains, junto a otras bandas, Threat Signal y The Holly Springs Disaster, y formaban parte del tour de otoño de From First to Last que comenzaba el 1 de noviembre con A Skylit Drive y Vanna.
